July 4th will be here soon, and if you don’t celebrate it…..well….you SHOULD! Because there are all kinds of cute merchandise, ideas, and food out there just waiting to be bought, used, and eaten! 🙂 For all fun stuff, click on pictures for direct links!
For starters, these purses from TJMaxx are super cute:
Straw bucket $34.99 Flag purse $29.99 Red, white, & blue clutch $29.99
The flag purse description says “Almost Gone,” so hurry if you want it!!
Unfortunately, I don’t have small children anymore (NEVER had cute little girls to dress up!), but if I DID, I might purchase THIS cute outfit for July 4th:

July 4th Toddler Girl Outfit – Was $51.00 on sale for $35.99 (Available in sizes for baby girls, little girls, and big girls!)
Here’s a cute top for “us” girls (nope, doesn’t matter how old we are…..):
Here’s a really fun wine goblet from Pier1.com:
These are $9.95, but order fast if you want them delivered – last day for July 4th delivery is June 25th – after that, check for free store pick up (Looks like that’s NOT available for my Tallahassee subscribers!)
If you like birdhouses, this one is pretty darn cute from Wayfair.com:
It’s $34.99, but you would probably have it for a long time, and it would look really cute inside or outside!
SteinMart is having an AWESOME 30% off “Stars and Stripes” sale on everything from tops for men and women to scarves, bowties, ties, hats for men and women, jewelry, purses, and MORE – Click HERE for cute patriotic merchandise like this:
I was personally looking for a cute garden flag for July 4th, and these two were my favorites:
So if you have little ones, here’s a good idea to protect their hands if they want to do sparklers – Poke the bottom of the sparkler through the bottom of a solo cup! Ta – Da!! No burned fingers or tears on July 4th!
Need a cool craft idea? How about this tie dye t-shirt? Fun for all ages!
– Tulip Surface Cover (Link HERE, but – again – I think most anything would work!)
– 100% white cotton shirt
– Pliers

3. Mix Tulip Tie Dyes and shake well. Squeeze red dye and saturate top part of shirt. Squeeze dye about a half inch from the cinched zip tie. The dye does bleed and will seep to this section eventually. Do the same with the blue dye at bottom. Also make sure to turn over and make sure you get all areas on the other side of the shirt.
4. Roll and wrap in Tulip Surface Cover and let sit 6-8 hours.
5. Rinse under faucet to remove excess dye. Rinse until water runs clear.
6. Leave ties on shirt and machine wash in large load setting.
7. After washing, remove ties. Machine dry.
For this cake, all you need to do is make a regular rectangular cake – or a pan of brownies – spread vanilla frosting on the top, and decorate with red, white, and blue M&Ms! (You’ll probably need two bags…..or – if you’re like me, and you need to sample “a few” while you decorate……you might need seventeen bags…..HEY! DON’T JUDGE!) 🙂
Lastly, if you want to decorate your home for July 4th, here are some red, white, and blue lights:
